SWAG FACTORY Player of the Week

Week 6











Player of the Week for week 6 goes to Merced High QB Tyrone Williams.  Williams showed his versatility and his accuracy against Atwater High School.  Williams went 9 for 11 through the air and tossed 4 TD’s.  He also had a nice 47 yard run.  Take a look at Williams’ highlights from the Atwater game

Merced currently holds a 4-2 record and 1-0 in the CCC. 

Currently Williams is gaining a lot of interest from colleges around the country.  Williams is receiving interest from Wyoming, San Jose State, Black Hills State, and Midwestern State.  Williams played with the S.W.A.G Factory 7 on 7 team during the offseason.  Williams guided the S.W.A.G FACTORY to a championship during the Passing DownNorCal Regional tournament.  Williams was named the MVP of the tournament also.  Take a look at Williams offseason highlights-

Week 5

Player of the Week for week 6 goes to Pacheco HS QB Juwan Epperson.  Epperson showed his accuracy during a game against first year school El Capitan, when he through 4 TD’s in the first half.  Pacheco ended up winning the game by the score of 70-24.  Take a look at highlights from this spectacular performance

Epperson has led Pacheco to a 4-2 record and 2-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.

Week 4












Player of the Week for week 5 goes to Merced High RB Jabar Byrd.  Byrd showed his versatility against Central Section power Clovis North.  Byrd started the game off with a 97 yard kickoff return touchdown.  He ended the night with 18 carries for 109 yards and two touchdowns.  It should be noted that Byrd had a 50 yard touchdown called back also.  Check out Byrd’s midseason highlight film-

Byrd holds an offer from University of Mary (Bismark, ND) at this time.  At this time he is receiving interest from San Jose St, Georgia State, and Black Hills College (South Dakota).  Byrd played with the S.W.A.G FACTORY  7 on 7 team during the offseason.  He was given the name “Mr. Clutch” for his play during the circuit.  Check out his offseason highlights-

Week 3








Player of the Week for week 3 goes to Clovis North ATH Bransin Johnson.  Johnson showed his skill set in all three phases of the game against Central Section power Edison High School (Fresno).  Johnson returned a kickoff 88 yards for a TD.  He also had 6 catches for 140 yards and a TD.  On the defensive side of the ball, Johnson played superb defense against Edison’s Division 1 college recruits.  Take a look at Johnson’s midseason highlight film-

Week 2

Player(s) of the Week for week two goes toATH Carlos Garcia of Pacheco High School and WR Raneil Rogers of Washington Union High School. 

Garcia a junior had 4 Carries for 98 yards and 3 TDs, a catch for 50 yards, and a sack against Dos Palos.   Check out Garcia’s performance- http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2902055/highlights/167698001.   Garcia was called up last year as a sophomore to help Pacheco’s varsity team.  The versatile Garcia can be seen lining up at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, corner, and linebacker.  Listen to what Garcia had to say about his spectacular performance- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m7L07a-5tY&list=UUnof5pVmvoF56cOi-eO0sDg.  During the offseason, the young Garcia worked out with the S.W.A.G FACTORY during the 7 on 7 season.  This has helped Garcia gain confidence and skill at the defensive back position. 

Rogers aka “Mr. Go Get It” had 7 catches 139 yards and 3 TDs against Kingsburg.  Rogers standing at 6’1” 165 plays much bigger then he actually is.  Check out Rogers midseason highlight film -http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1963674/highlights/179008375.   During last offseason, Rogers could be seen playing with the S.W.A.G FACTORY.  Rogers had his breakout game at the Passing Down Northern California Regional Tournament.  Take a look at some clips for Rogers offseason-http://youtu.be/ZU4i8GM_ZHc.  Rogers is receiving college interest from a numerous Big Sky schools.
